New lake trout record in Colorado

Wow, that's a big trout. I wouldn't eat it because it's a record, but I think it would still make me nervous eating something that is that abnormal. Does Col have any Nuclear power plants?

That's not abnormal...just not as common anymore. Fish like that used to be found in the deep waters on a regular basis.

no idea about colorado in general but there's nothing but a bit of agricultural runoff to concern lake gunnison. even then I don't think it's a concern.

Abnormal is a realitive term. It looks abnormal to me, however there may not be anything wrong with it.

large fat particular examples of most species resembles that fish in form. when they max out size for the species... that's pretty much it.

Well, I think fat people are abnormal too, so maybe it's just me.
