I wonder how many people die/suffer injury due to a ceiling fan falling on them?

A lot of ceiilng fan installs are just bolted into the ceiling drywall and stud and not properly mounted/braced.

Wonder how many injuries/deaths are caused by ceiling fans.

I uses those safe-t-bar hanger boxes on every one of my installs. Granted, my fans weigh nearly 100# each.

When I was in high school, one fell on teh foot of teh bed while I was sleeping.
